So I don't really talk about myself too much. I tend to keep a lot bottled inside. I guess it has always been easier to do that then to show and express my feelings. I am a horrible public speaker and that even includes just talking to my friends and family.
I get nervous about the "am I saying the right thing, will I offend someone you know what I am talking about, right?"
So that is why I love this blog thing. I enjoy writing things out. It may come out in a jumbled mess. But at least it is out of my head.
So for today's post I decided to tell you a bit of what is going on with me.
For starters I have started running. Wait what? I am running, well not as we speak. But I am training in order to do something on my bucket list. Run a marathon.
I know it is a long way off but the enjoyment that I am getting right now from just running is awesome. Plus the shedding of extra weight ain't so bad either.
So there is that. And the other thing is I am quitting smoking. Crazy I know especially for the people who know me. But I know it is time to do this. So everyday I smoke less. This is how I am doing it. Day 1 take one smoke out if pack put it in empty pack, day 2 take 2 out of pack, day 3 take 3 out, etc. you get the jist right. So I am on day 6 now and doing good. So hopefully it will stick.
I have tried to go cold turkey, the patch, the inhaler, the gum, but they didn't work. So here is hoping.
